I'm working for a company. We hold several big sponsors already for a tv show. But I hold a precise company surrounded by mind that I want to sponsor us. I am unusual onboard, and they informed me that when seeking sponsors, they do research first.
What type of research is this. I could glibly ask my boss but I don't want to come across inexperienced or incompetent. Where should I start. I want to be a bit ahead of things formerly this project starts. Please recommend.
