UK consumer rights for unsound products purchased over the internet?

I purchased a digital camera closing week from a bazaar salesperson through Amazon.co.uk. Camera arrived fine but I notice that it made a rattle disturbance when moved which I thought curious. Have be to currys and jessops and looked at similar camera and none kind this rattle nouns.

I enjoy contacted the salesperson and am told that I can return the camera and they will receive it repaired and that it will hold 28 days!

Surely this can't be right as the camera is smaller number than a week ripened and be blemish when it arrived. I can't afford to continue 28 days as I am departure the country for a year contained by 2 weeks time (which is what I call for the camera for).

Does any expert know what my consumer rights are in relation to this? Should they not replace it if imprecise? Also, does the certainty that I rewarded by credit card manufacture any difference?
