I usually originate by thank my current employer for the opportunity and experience I've gain and I explain myreason for going away but be broad (i.e. opportunity to further work, return to institution, transformation of corral, etc.) but you may or may not want to. For Example:
Dear Employer (supervisor or manager),
Thank you for the opportunity to work for a great company(name). I am grateful for the experience I own academic working during my tenure here (name of company). I hold come to the judgment that I would similar to to further (career, schooling, etc.) and enjoy contracted to pursue an opportunity elsewhere. I would similar to to resign my position potent (date...preferably 2 weeks from submission of this letter).
