Format for writing out a check for an even amount?

Just curious... on the stripe where on earth you hold to write out the amount - is it standard to write, permit's articulate for $25.00.. "Twenty Five and xx/xxx" ? Or is it more proper to write, "Twenty Five and 0/100"?

Answers:
Either opening is fine, I write "Twenty Five and 00/100" but xx/100 works freshly as appropriate, as does xx/xxx. I would put two 0's instead of one because someone could lately as well put a number within front of it and screw you out of a together 90 cents.
Not that it's that big of a contract, but I've hear when in attendance's a discrepancy within the numbers (written vs 25.00) the written one is what they travel by because it take longer, hence more thought to write than a number. I could be wrong and it probably wouldn't hold up if the numbers be too far bad...
I would write...Twenty Five and No/100...
I would write: Twenty-Five Dollars and 0/100
