Ebay charges!!?
Hi, can anyone speak about me if Ebay still charges their fees if your items don't trade?
Also a friend of mine sold a stair lift up on Ebay for lb250.00 and her insertion excise be lb2.00 for selling that item. I put on 4 spools of transmitter cable, brand fresh, next to a starting bid of lb40.00 and get charges lb3.00 insertion payment, that doesn't product sense to me.
What am i doing wrong?

Yes eBay still charges for things nominated that don't go.
The insertion tax is 'banded' depending in the starting price plus a fixed amount per picture so if the stair elevate started at right to be heard 99p near no picture it would be 30p. but a stair heave is possible to step for seriously more so its worth starting at a low price.
When you draw from the final index tax the stair raise will distinctly be charged more than you.
The best sale results on eBay are from:
Always hold a picture on the look into list.
Start at 99p.
Aim to finish the auction Sunday evening.
Put as several pictures on as you can BUT do it via an HTML interconnect from photobucket or similar. that means of access eBay isn't getting compensated per picture. (gimme a nudge if your not sure how)

eBay charge differently depending on what category you provide within, and yes they still charge you indistinguishable insertion duty whether your item sell or not, but a relisting tax will be refund if the item sell that time around.
eBay are a rip rotten but they own the marketplace share so what can relations do?

Unfortunately yes, ebay do still charge if your item doesn't get rid of (which is why I habitually prefer to use Amazon for selling stuff). And your insertion tax is determined by what features you use to flog your item, for example, did you index it contained by two category or supply a few extra pictures? They charge for them too.

Yes you catch charged the Insertion levy only just for the right to account it on Ebay doesn`t matter what happen. If the item don't go after that's it no more charges, if you relist it to distribute buyers another adjectives later you are charged a 'Relisting allowance', i.e. refund if the item afterwards sell but you will after payment the % to ebay depending on how much you obtain for the item.
The difference contained by insertion fees would be because of different catagories and type of advert
