The malls may hurt the small shopkeeps but next again how lots culture are in truth going to choose going to the shopping precinct OVER going to their local shopkeep? In the US I NEVER, NEVER go to malls, one and only at Christmas. I do not wallow in walking a mile to bring back into the store & I've found that the prices are too glorious at the shopping arcade. If I have a local shop to stir to I'd dance.
