What is the best online stockbroker?
I am new to stock markets(UK), and just want to swot at the moment by buying 1 or 2 shares every now and then.
Best within terms of cheap and user friendly. Both UK and international brokers please

I do not know about UK brokers, but contained by the U S most of the better on line brokers charge about $7.00 to $18.00 per transaction although here are a very limited number that will execute trades for free next to some stipulations. But even at $7.00 per transaction on a $30 stock that will increase your cost on one share by 23% and if you want to sell it for a profit, it will have to rise to $45.00 for a moment ago a 3% gain.
If you want to begin investing, you need to meditate in terms of at lowest possible $1000 per transaction for your effort to be worth the effort. In pounds sterling that is to say what? 500 pounds?
