How can I short bond prices?
im looking for a way to short sell or place a bet that bond prices will tumble. i think the fed will elevate interest rates sooner or later and when that day comes i want to profit from the drop contained by bond prices.
im looking for some decent leverage as well.
any planning people?
ive found a couple of ways but they dont really give great leverage.

Answers: I don't know if you can directly short bonds.
The one thing that comes to mind is that bonds and stocks are inversely proportional. When interest rates go up, bonds spill out and stocks rise.. so just switch back and forth depending on the communication if you're just doing it short-term.
I'm not sure that you can directly short sell bonds. Perhaps you can short bond ETFs.
