Nyse and smooth 2?

I know the difference between horizontal 1 and height 2 quotes but doesn't this solely apply to the NASDAQ? Is in that a instrument to check the lay down book for NYSE stocks? If so, does anyone know where on earth to catch that information for free?

Actually Level 2 quotes are expected to be present for adjectives exchanges that settlement stock (NYSE, Nasdaq, Amex, and adjectives the other over the counter and 2nd-ary exchanges).
I really don't similar to how the NYSE writ book is set up fairly frankly. I have to pay packet to scrutinize it from E*trade and I used to infer I needed it when I have to buy big amounts of stock from companies that really didn't hold the volume to buy/sell from. However, I found out that the plane 2 works much better..so unless you want to buy 50k shares of NTG or something...you really don't call for such information.
