Investing soundly and diversifying?
I'm a formation investor, and I want to be extraordinarily sheltered near my money, so I bought some of the B shares of Berkshire Hathaway. I've be told to diversify, so what else should I buy (just within armour BRKB have a meltdown--anything is possible) that would diversify my portfolio and still be undamaging?

Also make a note of that technology and utilities are two industries you don't want to own adjectives your money tied up contained by. I hold greatly of money contained by qualcomm and apple, and simply today the feed made an announcement resulting in a 2% drop in the both of them. mind.
Since you hold a brokerage information, check out the exchange traded fund VEU -- Vanguard-FTSE World Equity ex-US. It invests in the stocks of companies from 47 different countries, both developed and emerging market, but no US company. That will diversify you.
VEU or CWI are great for intercontinental but why Berkshire? Warren Buffet is geeting up in years and while he is correct within are no successor plans all the same and over 3k for ONE share make me wonder what you are thinking anyway.
