Why does duke energys stock show suck so fruitless? shouldn't a utility company be better?

Answers: I have held Duke stock (DUK) for years. The pro in their stock is dividends and not growth. They are of late about other rated any buy or hold. They did spin off the untaught gas side of their business, but that was made up to investors beside stock in the unsullied Spectra Energy.
