Re: On-investing . . . Is anyone paying smaller amount than $29 to place a trade? With what company?
Answers:
$29 is to some extent on the steep side. But within may be other things you are getting for this besides placing trades. Scottrade chages $7.00. TD Ameritrade charges $10.00. There are some that do not charge anything. But sometime you get what you pay envelope for.
If I remember correctly, my Scottrade details charges $7 per transaction.
www.zecco.com
$3.50 per trade
$0 minimum harmonize
Ameritrade Scottrade Etrade
$4 per buy on Sharebuilder.com
They hold monthly plans too, where on earth you can catch a sure number of "free" buys. Sells are a bit more expensive, $12 I assume, but again, smaller quantity if you sign up for a monthly plan.
online brokers usually charge less significant comissions than if you be to place a trade near a regular stock broker
i use scottrade.com they with the sole purpose charge $7.00 a trade. i bought NPLA this morning. so as of 9:30 this morning it be still $7.00
Zecco is FREE.
