Caculating cost foundation beside no annals.?

I am trying to figure out cost starting place for stock that bought way stern when my broker was EF Hutton. I do not hold any of the statements or confirmation slips. I do have statements going pay for to about year 2000 showing the meaning. Can I use this as my cost basis? The stock be bought at varrious times in eccentric lots when I was next to Hutton.

Answers:    The link below is a fitting article for trying to estimate your basis. Sounds approaching the IRS will accept a believable estimate. Clearly, your basis will probable be low. (EF Hutton was sold contained by 1988, so your acquisition date be likely up to that time that.)

Good luck.
