What is going on beside the Broadcom stock price?

Growth every quarter and yet the price have plummetted

Answers:    I would disagree with the "growth every quarter" assertion. Net income decline in 2007 and sale were lone up marginally. See the data here -> http://quote.yahoo.com/q/is?s=BRCM&annua...

Also, contained by the near occupancy, it's not looking like in that will be much profit growth. Average earnings estimates for the first partly of this year are for 56 cents per share. That's exactly the same as 2007 - i.e. NO growth.

Longer residence, the picture looks brighter, though. Analysts are still predicting about 20% per year growth over the subsequent 5 years.

Tech stocks tend to be volatile and often get hold of significantly overpriced when enthusiasm is high and significantly underpriced when sentiment is sombre. Personally, I think the stock be overpriced last year when it be above $40, so part of the decline be just the price dropping support to a more reasonable plane. Now, the market is full of pessimists and the stocks of closely of good companies are at prices that I give attention to will look very cheap a few years from very soon. I think Broadcom might be one of those stocks. It could still walk significantly lower from here (once these downtrends get started, they recurrently go mode too far), but if the long term projections of 20% annual profit growth are close to accurate, the stock price could be significantly highly developed a few years from now.
