What is the correlation (or connection) of the Japanese YEN and NASDAQ?
I am a alien investor. Some of the investment messageboards (in wispy of the recent Wall Street crisis) suggest that when the Yen go down within value-the NASDAQ moves up. And the other channel around. Is this true? ONLY EXPERIENCED INVESTORS PLEASE RESPOND! Thanks

Right in a minute, everyone is concerned going on for "the get trade", borrowing in a low interest rate currency, approaching the yen, and buying other assets (like US stocks). A strengthening yen (which system a lesser amount of yen to purchase a dollar) is individual taken as a sign that general public are unwinding the fetch trade, hence selling stocks.
This may be an actual relationship; however, it is at best a conditional relationship, so don't deliberate you can use this within the long-term.
Good luck.
