The big boys bear positive aspect of small inefficiencies between market using HUGE positions.this is particular as arbitrage.

The market are so simplified (partly because of arbitrage) that an individual trader would be strong pressed to generate any money this route. Plus here are regulatory constraints as some of the others enjoy mentioned above.

Arbitrage is not provoked contained by India as such. However if you own a position or physical stock surrounded by your demat statement nearby is no purpose why it cannot be done. Let me illustrate
You brought Reliance physically 100 shares (a)1800. It have come to your demat statement. You find on a daytime the price of Reliance at NSE is 1900 and at matching time at BSE it si 1850. You add the brokerage etc and you find it is in your like better you may proceed to market at NSE and at like peas in a pod time buy from BSE near by pocketing any inefficeny in pricing.
