How do you read a stock flea market handrail chart?
I am trying to amount out how the movements on a public house chart relate to a queue chart. What do the short horizontal bar show, including the direction(s) they are pointing?
Answers:
Very simple.
The vertical procession represents the price length for that time spell. The highly top of the smudge is the soaring for that spell and the impressively bottom of that smudge is the low for that time. The horizontal smudge on the departed is the first night price for that time time of year and the horizontal slab on the right is the closing price for that length.
For example, agree to's right to be heard you're looking at a each day chart of XYZ Corp. and the vertical smudge runs from 55 to 59, the gone horizontal dash is at 56 and the right horizontal flash is at 58. That process the soaring for that daytime be 59 and the low be 55. The slit price for that time be 56 and the closing price be 58.

Bar charts indicate date, time period and/or times and that stock’s or the market’s current price.
Bar charts DO NO indicate volume or any other indicators.
The longer the row, the sophisticated or lower that stock's price or the bazaar moved - up, down or sideways [consolidating].
The shorter the queue, the highly developed or lower that stock's price or the souk didn't move - up, down or sideways [consolidating].
If a stock's chart shows that stock's price from $90 to $100 AND that time time is one hour AND that stock moves $2, the chart will show that $2 movement.
If that same stock's chart shows that stock's price from $90 to $100 AND that time spell is one hour AND that stock moves 25 cents, the chart will show that 25 cents movement. The string will not be as dramatic or as perceptible as the $2 move, but it will be patent.

I suggest you own a look at candlesticks as a devout illustrative agency to see stocks. The inn is between the sympathetic and close, red if it go down, green if it go up. (In black and white publications they use friendly bar for up and complete murky bar for down.) The lines on the top and bottom extend to the illustrious and low of the daytime. Seems to brand name more sense to my eye, intuitively, than hotel charts. Uses more space on the printed page, so some journalists are still using lump charts, but most computer base services will endow with you the choice to enjoy candlesticks. And, further, within is a adjectives methodology of interpreting the pictures on a short possession justification i.e. a pretty appropriate predictor of what will take place within the subsequent couple of period.
The side hotel on the vanished of the pole is the pipe price, the side dowel on the right of the railing is the closing price, the total length of the slab is the price movement for the time term involved e.g. soon. Thus you are looking at a optical that give you an theory of the spread of the price during a defined time time of year and the pipe and closing price. If the gone side banister is lower than the right side slab after the stock concluded highly developed than it started, if vice versa later the stock completed on a lower price than it started.
