What's the best online trading platform (E*Trade? ScottTrade?)?
I desire I could do one that did both stocks and commodities and futures, but I'll be smiling next to stocks. I want to place my 40k surrounded by mutual funds into morning trading (don't verbs, I enjoy actual training, classes, risks, know I'm expected to lose, etc.) but I still want to pick one. I want an online platform that's express, get information swiftly, executes cheap trades, and is mostly reliable and straightforward to read.
Anyone own experience beside upright ones?

Go read some online articles that compare the prime platforms. Just do an online look into for "online brokerage comparisons" or something resembling that. I reccommend Scottrade as the trades are roughly speaking as cheap as you will obtain. The downside is their fringe rates are above average and I've see mixed reports on their speed of innards trades. Still for me, they are dependable (but I don`t know not for you).
Etrade is supposed to allow you to trade on 4 or 5 stock marktes around the world - a huge plus for a really smart investor or one that wishes to focus on international stocks, but useless to most smaller investors (or most that want to focus on mutual funds - similar to you, maybe).
There are some other righteous ones. You'll find that OptionExpress is terrifically polite (never used this one myself, but they are okay rated). More expensive that scottrade but outside edge rates are lower and I don`t know they are faster at nourishing trades.
Anyhow, thats my steal on 3 of them but here are frequent more out here. Of course merely used ones that are sipc insured, and again - I'd insist on probing for more specifics on this via an online check out. FYI, I guess kiplingers have an areticle roughly speaking this going on for 1-2 years ago. dutiful article but alot can transform within 2 years (and I'm not positive it be Kiplingers)
Best luck.
Look into Zecco.
