Answers: Assuming you said "on" the NYSE" not "at" the NYSE you were on the floor, you could try look around for the floor of the exchanges surrounded by NY and see if you can either clerk, or run tickets. What roughly speaking some of the wire houses on the street.
Even the banks' investment areas are looking for what the send for traders or even order takers.
Some of the regulators or NASDAQ could use you talent for surveillance work.
If you have license, some of the major firms may be interested, at most minuscule they may put on salary for awhile.
I assume you don't own sufficient capital to start trading from home, but I would look into especially within the option marketplace.
