Switching from state grow to allstate?
Has anyone used allstate insurance before? Did you find it reliable? Would you recommend it?
Answers: I deal beside the Allstate claims dept on a regular basis, and I don't have anything well brought-up to say about them. They are BY FAR the most difficult company I hold to deal with. FYI
I own experience with Allstate, farmers, and state farm. If you hold state farm they are the only company that give you discounts for being a long time customer. I work for farmers but have state dairy farm insurance. I have only hear bad things about Allstate, they do NOT remuneration out on claims-I know that from personal experience... Working at a competitor I hear that Allstate just raised their rates- one guy go up 60 a month and another went up 50 each month for no cause. If you have another choice I would not suggest going to Allstate. BTW I'm not asking you to go to Farmers or state cattle farm, I just know they have a better text with claims. I just switched from Travelers to Erie Insurance. I did acquire a quote from Allstate in my process of shopping for new insurance and it be nearly the highest one I got (State Farm be the highest).
I'm female, have have a license for over 8 years, not one accident on my record (one ticket 6 years ago). Allstate needed to charge me $2,000 per year!
I got a policy with Erie for $730. Travelers be giving me a $1,200 premium.
Also switched my homeowners. I increased my coverages on my house (never had a claim on the property before) and my premium went down by $15 on that as resourcefully.
Check erieinsurance.com if you're shopping rates! As a side note, Erie quoted me for $900 on-line but when I met with the agent, she get me in at $730.
i had Allstate and HATED them, or I don`t know i should say i hated the agent. by the time i departed he had my policy so messed up that i now hold a BAD taste in my mouth for Allstate. i agree near the above, if Erie writes where you live they are OUTSTANDING! i now hold my home and auto with them AND I write for them. i can honestly say they are one company I own actually seen stand at the back their clients.
