Pl and pd insurance?

ok so my band was on tour and we have gotten into a one car accident and our bassist (the one driving) contracted to only get pl and pd when we have thousands of dollars in equipment in the van. and not to mention i have gotten injured pretty bad. am i covered for medical expenses since i was not on the policy? am i considered pl or pd? will my equipment be covered?

Answers:    Unfortunately, personal liability and property blight really apply to what you do to people if you hit them.
Medical Payment is the coverage that would apply the driver and passengers surrounded by the at-fault vehicle. Since it is a one car accident in attendance really isn't anyone else to be at fault. The total limit on this coverage is customarily only $1000 - $5000 or it may have be waived entirely.

Also, as for your instruments you would need to enjoy a form of inland marine policy to cover your musical instruments and equipment. Unfortunately, auto policies don't cover non-installed equipment in the vehicle. You MAY know how to claim these items on a homeowners/renters policy.
