I am going to end my employer health insurance coverage if I can find a better one. Are near any associations or organizations one can join that provide member a way to join a group robustness insurance plan? I'm thinking of organizations like art organization, or professional organizations.

The premium for these plans are any the same as a regular individual policy or the benefits are cut to allow a lower premium. Any savings I've ever see are more than made up by the dues of the association. The plans are individually underwritten so you can be denied or the rates increased base on your health.
Well, they don't really do that any more. You can marry a group, and APPLY for an individual plan, associated with the group - but they don't have to clutch you, and they individually rate you.
