Holiday insurance interview.?

Has anyone had to call their insurance company from in a foreign country? Touch wood I have never had to me but it confuses me why my travel insurance document does not include the international dial or an 'emergency contact' number. Why do they do this?

Answers:    They don't want to compensate for the call.

And that travel insurance - doesn't cover probably everything you think it covers - heaps of those claims get denied, anyway.
