Circuit City Insurance?

I had a 600$ laptop and myself and it fell down the stairs and it snapped within half. i bought the insurance plan plus that covers involuntary damage. if it is broken beyond repair will i bring back a gift card for 600 to buy another or are they going to claim its be on purpose? im using my friends immediately for 2 weeks and i dont wanna get ripped bad. the guy at the store said if i can bring half of a computer i can return with the card. is this true? has anyone done this?


Answers:    Never buy one of those extended warranty/insurance plans. Not individual are they worthless but they don't pay up when something does take place. They offer them as a money author, not to help you out. They will kind all sorts of excuses. I do hope you don't encounter that but expect it. Don't beckon them, go into the store and look at them obverse to face. Then if they try to screw you consequently go ape and shift ballistic. They will want to shut you up and satisfy you for the sake of business.
hail as them, or go into the store. doesn't hurt to ask. they should cover it.
