Obtaining License to Sell Insurance?

I hold contracted to secure my license to flog Life And Health Insurance. Many companies proposition prelicensing study guides, cd's, audio, etc. for preparation at a cost. Does anyone know of an inexpensive channel to prepare for this exam since I own constrained funds? Thanks!

Answers:
Selling insurance is not approaching selling cars, or other products. You are selling experience. Reading a few books and taking a experiment is a dire method to prepare for this work. Most insurance salesmen come to nothing.

If you want to succeed, you requirement to prepare yourself. I agree near the previous post that you would be better past its sell-by date getting an entry rank charge near an insurance company. The experience you gain will greatly increase your probability of nouns as an agent.
If you've established you want to provide insurance..take an entry height work beside an insurance company--they will habitually recompense for you to dance to classes, money for the materials, and remuneration for your examination as long as you overhaul it. I discern nearby are A LOT of entry plane insurance sale positions when I look at hotjobs on yahoo. That's the cheapest way---it would be free.
I found the net base study programs to be the most minuscule expensive and the most beneficial. If I remember it be around $100- $150. Sorry but I do not own the trellis site sour appendage. Just G00GLE it and I am sure you will find something suitable. If I can be of any more help out please permit me know.

I've be contained by the industry for 32 years and enjoy trained oodles. If you are on severely predetermined funds, I suggest you progress to Kaplan. You can find them at www.kaplan.com. This is going to be your best bet. Sometimes you can get hold of books at the library for the CLU designation. Studying these can serve, but if you are current to the industry, you necessitate the details. Kaplan is the best on the souk for these. You can also contact your state insurance department and sometimes they enjoy courses at a reduced cost or can enlighten you where on earth to draw from used books. Hope this help.
