Life insurance company regected application?

I am 33 years old, no history of strength problems, non smoker, non drinker but am pregnant and overweight (when I sighned the application, I reported this, knowing full well I would not be covered for any pregnancy related problems). This is my 2nd child and my first child (although I be also overweight) had a run of the mill ,healthy pregancy and problem free deliver. I am the core breadwinner in the loved ones. My application was rejected.

My husband is 36 years behind the times, smoker, has history of some strength problems but not serious, slightly over weight. His application be accepted.

Why?


Answers:    If I have to guess, you are probably in your finishing trimester of pregnancy and with adjectives the complications that can happen during distribution, the company is just not likely to take the risk. However, as others enjoy said, you have the right to know why and you should produce the effort to find out why. If it is as I suggested, once the newborn gets her, you should reapply and will probably seize coverage.
