Can my husband's ex wife enjoy life span insurance on him?

My husband's ex wife have energy insurance on him. Is this official? Can she do this, what if she carried it over from when they be married. Is this possible?

Answers:
Happens adjectives the time, usually segment of a divorce agreement.

If it is not chunk of divorce agreement, and your husband is the owner of the policy, you can redeploy the beneficiary, nullify the policy, etc.. The owner controls it.
Yes this is possible. Most insurance companies prefer here to be an insurable interest. The statute surrounded by most countries requires that. In NZ at hand is no obligation. Obviously in attendance be an interest when they be married. When they divorced, the thing should hold be sorted afterwards. It formed factor of the estate to be divided and settled. The cross-question is I guess, "who is presently the premium payer and who holds the policy document?" If your husband pays the premium, next he can stop paying the premiums. If he holds the policy, consequently he can check its advantage and reverse it. If his ex owns the policy and pays the premium, and they cannot verbalize in the region of it readily, later get hold of his solicitor to write to her and ask it be cancelled or assigned to him.
If your husband and his ex hold children together, it is enormously WISE for her to own a policy on him. (and for him to enjoy a policy on her). Many time contained by a (bitter) divorce, one side will retract the insurance. If one spouse dies, the other is moved out short the child support payments. That won't arise if respectively side owns a policy on the other.

Think in the order of it.

Then make conversation to a professional insurance agent and a legal representative.
Yes, it is officially recognized, possible, & smart. So long as at the time the coverage be issued, she have insurable interest, near is zilch unseemly going on for it. If she is the owner of the policy, after she can verbs to reward on it & remian as the beneficiary until his demise (or when the policy will stop surrounded by the travel case of permanent status coverage). She cant be forced to revoke it by anyone including you, him, or the agent. He can still hang on to the one on her also (assuming he took one out to commence with).

Just b/c they are divorced, doesnt scrounging that she should not be entitled to insurance. If near are children involved, she still have an insurable interest. Just dont craft the mistake of thinking you are getting put a bet on at her by him getting a tentative policy on her. Again if children are involved, he should enjoy one on her anyway.
Yes, it is official, possible. I found interesting information going on for your answer here. http://all-insurance-online.blogspot.com... Good luck!
