I verbs houses, do I own to be a business to be bonded/insured?

I don't own oodles clients so I'm not planning on making it a business. Can I still be bonded or insured (should I be)? In other words does it enjoy to be an authoritative business or can I somehow include it to my homeowners policy? If I can include it, what exactly is it call?

Answers:
Most of the time, no.

Bonding doesn't stingy what you assume it method. Very, outstandingly few small businesses stipulation to be bonded. AND, it's not cost important, any, as it ONLY covers the NAMED CLIENT. So you'd own to win a bond for respectively client. It's not approaching insurance.

Insurance for a one man cleaner, is going to run you something like $1500 a year, for a hot operation. That's a LOT for someone who's cleaning houses.

You cannot, however, attach coverage to your homeowners policy - it specifically excludes business - and it IS a business, if you verbs houses for a duty.
No. You do not inevitability to be Bonded or Insured. However, be warn. If anything is broken and you do not set up an LLC, S Corp, you will be held peronally liable.

Additional, most populace will use the following as an exposure slogan, "bonded and insured". You will greatly increase your presence in the souk if you are bonded and insured.

Re: what exactly is it call, simply pick up a phone and speak next to a P&C insurance broker. You will want some standard liability insurance.

Good luck.
