Landlord insurance?

what is the difference between homeowners and proprietor insurance

Answers:
Homeowners is for owner colonized dwellings. Landlord is for premises rented to others.

As neither of them are "exact" insurance lingo, in that can be a BUNCH of other differences, also.
Homeowners insurance covers the home that you own and live in. Landlord insurance covers a home that you own but rent out to others. The proprietor policy usually doesn't hold as much contents coverage. The tenant want a renter's policy.
