Am i required to reimburse leinholder if i am not on mortgage?

My home was lost surrounded by a fire. I had homeowners insurance butd the mortage be only contained by my xhusbands name, He be suppossed to keep insurance for the leinholder. He didnt.

Since I am not on the mortgage. Am I responsible to earnings off mortgage to leinholder beside insurance proceeds. I want to put another home there. Not simply be left beside empty lot which is what they want to do. If I do not pay packet them what can they do. Again I am not even on the mortgage. My husband was to record quit claim deed to me surrounded by divorce proceedings but I had zilch to do with mortgage on mobile home. do i enjoy a right to refuse to pay envelope it off and to obtain another mobile home and put there instead so i wont be vanished homeless. xhusband refuses to salary child support and we need a home for me and my three children. ps my describe is was title but not on mortgage.

Answers:    First bad, you can not insure what you don't own.
You need to proceed next to extreme caution here. The insurance company could nullify your policy if they find out that you really don't own the property. You should see a legal representative so you will know your rights. If you don't have money for a legal representative you will probably have to tolerate the insurance pay bad the mortgage if the mortgage company is listed as lien holder on the policy.
You entail a lawyer.. ASAP. This is not a situation you can resolve online. I suspect if your identify was on the house title you can be held responsible. You also inevitability to get a legal representative to motivate your ex to pay child support.
