Answers:    While student loans are considered installment loans they are not considered real loans as far as banks are concerned.

They do give a hand build credit score but not profile which is as important as rack up.

To have the best score and profile inhabitants need 3 credit card accounts (revolving) with balance below 30% of their limits and 2 cars, boats, homes, computers, furniture of personal accounts (installment) all near good long payment history's.

Obviously you can effortlessly save and pay bread for a car if you aren't paying hundreds of dollars a month in credit card bills. As for have good credit for a home, around 60% of mortgage lenders still use underwriting (at like interest rate as obtaining a mortgage the regular way). They look at how you've paid rent yesteryear few years, they make sure you MAKE enough money, etc. etc. So if you've be financially mature this far I would not suggest taking out a student loan for your credit score.
