Missed fee effect on credit rack up?
i always pay my credit card bills in good time and in full but just realize that I only paid 75% of my ending bill by mistake. i have great credit but will this wreck my credit?
Answers: First off, you appear to be talking about paying within full. As long as you pay the MINIMUM due, you will not affect your credit rating (other than by having a large percentage of your credit line in use). Your costs will only show up as late if you do not pay envelope this minimum.
I've actually done both of these a couple times. I have greatly good credit, so it's generally fairly easy to get this fixed. If you missed a giving, pay it immediately and ring up and request that the late fees and interest be refunded as a courtesy.
If you simply did not reimburse the balance in full, as per norm, that's even easier. Again, appointment up and mention that you made a mistake and then paid it sour prompty the next day. Pretty much any credit card company will remove the interest charges for you surrounded by this case, as long as you don't make a dependence of it.
Did you make at least the minimum allowance? When reading your question I took it as you pay sour the balance in full respectively month. So if you made a 75% payment of the total balance, next you will more than like be okay.
If you only made a salary in the amount of 75% of the minimum payment, afterwards it will count against you if you don't take care of it inside 30 days of the due date. Simply pay the remaining 25% before 30 days departed the due date and you should be good.
Actually, paying anything less than the minimum due will count as a behind schedule payment...regardless of whether or not the check arrived on time.If there's still time, wage the remaining 25% via phone or online to avoid a late fee...
There enjoy been recent changes to the FICO evaluation model.Supposedly, being late on purely one payment will not be bad...simply as long as it doesn't happen again.
As long as your payment be not 30 days past due or more
If you did not pay satisfactory make another payment...
