Loan harrassment?

What can i do about a payday loan company coming to my job and harrassing me. I have a payday loan, i put a stop payment on the checks that i wrote them, and know they are coming to my job trying to have a chat to me about it.

Answers:    You will need to distribute a certified mail, cease and desist note.
They are not allowed to harass you at work.
They are prohibited to:
Call you before 8am or after 9pm
Call you at work, provided the debt collector is aware your employer doesn’t approve of these phone calls
Harass, intimidate, or abuse you
Lie to you or falsely hint that you have committed a crime
Use unfair practices within an attempt to collect a debt
Conceal his or her identity on the phone
Disregard a written request from you to cease further contact.

You probably don't hold to deal with the harrassment at your living, but remember you armed them with all of this info when you needed this loan, you actually gave them authority to call you about this loan. So, I would speak pay them, because you lose in the long run. You will not be capable of get another payday loan, if you really need one, not situation how much the interest is. You will be put on the Cheksystem, and that is a separate credit system for bad checks, so it will be intricate for you to open up another checking account. And later it will go on your credit report, not to mention they may be able to sue you , or garnishee you money. So, it is not worth it. Pay them as soon as you can. Stop and obverse the music. the sooner you can work out a realistic payment arrangement, th e better. in recent times get it over and done, and budget better. I'm not talking to you from a illustrious horse..tough times are everywhere. If you do your best to be careful with your money and attain out from under, the world looks brighter. Challenge yourself to be the most frugal you can. It makes you touch clever to live within your means instead of desperate to live beyond them.
The solely thing you can do is have your boss notify them contained by writing that he (or the company) does not allow creditors to approach their employees while working.
This would fall underneath the following United States Code

TITLE 15--COMMERCE AND TRADE CHAPTER 41--CONSUMER CREDIT PROTECTION SUBCHAPTER V--DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES Sec. 1692c

Communication in connection beside debt collection
(3) at the consumer's place of employment if the debt collector knows or has root to know that the consumer's employer prohibits the consumer from receiving such communication.

If you mismanage your money so that you need a payday loan, live up to your responsibility and foot it off. They did give you the money when you needed it and you own the nerve to place " stop payment' on the checks? Thank God you didn't borrow from my friend Dominic for you would be needing a up to date set of knee caps almost now. There would be no harrasment at the workplace. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act doesn't apply, as the payday loan company is an original creditor. The FDCPA merely applies to 3rd party debt collectors, such as collection agencies and attorneys who collect debts.
The next time they come to look in you at work, just call 911. Payday loan..your gonna hear from them until you settle up them...sorry..you went to them...pay up..and don't do that again..
next pay ur bill
