How to abolish Discover card Payment Protection?

I called them to cancel it. But today I saw it be still there.

Answers:    Call them again and then ask them to convey you proof of cancellation. It may require a written letter (gotta abhor that small print). Double check with them and don't loose your temper - that won't aid at all.

Good luck.
Just call Discover, request a supervisor & rebuff to discuss it until a supervisor gets on the phone. Then get their given name, id num, & immediate superior mark & phn num. Tell them what you want, when you asked for it before, & what you found. Most front line relations at a call center do not have the clearence to do much of anything. Anything serious resembling cancelling payment protection will usually hold to be forwarded to a supervisor anyway so you might as well start there. Also, you may own called & requested it during the billing cycle so it just hadn't hit the explanation yet. A lot of payment protection charges hit the first afternoon of the cycle & they are there for the rest of the cycle. If you call surrounded by on the 5th, for instance, & the charge hit on the 3rd, you would see it the on the next bill. It may even take 2 - 3 billing cycles to post to the sketch. I know some of the credit cards I have worked with within the past had a 3 month return or dissolution policy. They would continue to charge for 3 months & then stop out of the blue. Nothing you could do more or less it either, you had already agreed to it within the fine print when you signed up. call again to verify it was removed. Ask for a confirmation number or transaction number or something that they show for that achievement in the system. Also, request the confirmation be mailed to you. Make sure to write down date/time you phone and who you speak with.
