How several credit cards do you own?

i once owned 12...im down to 3!

Answers:    None - if i can't pay for it straight away - i can't have it.
I learn the hard way!
I enjoy 2 - a mastercard and a visa, both with no annual fees, and both have a reward organization along with it (it's smart not to pay the credit card company surrounded by order to use their card, but instead to have them income you!)

Kudos to you for getting yourself down from 12 to 3!!

her_royal_shyness has a very impractical attitude towards credit. Even if you only purchase things you can afford (cheers to that!!), having and using a credit card and paying it sour in full each month help to establish yourself as a responsible credit owner. Also, with so many cc's offering no annual fees, and some sort of rewards system, it make sense to put as many purchases on a cc as possible if your intent is to pay it bad in full each month anyways. This is a great attitude to enjoy and habit to get into while you're childish and have less financial responsibilities than then on in life. You'd be building up this great credit history so that when you really necessitate it, you can ask for the credit and you'll get it.

Of course, not everyone can "control themselves" with a cc contained by their hands.and it's important to grant it to yourself if you're this type of person! In that case, the cash-only system is particularly the way to go for you!
I disagree near those who say that credit cards are bad. Yes, some ethnic group run themselves into a lot of debt, but you can only blame the individual, not the card. Credit cards can be especially useful in emergency. As an example, I have family contained by New Zealand. If someone took ill or died and I had to travel in attendance at short notice, my airfare would probably be in the region of lb1,000. Do you reflect I have lb1,000 just sitting within my current account?

I have two, because I recognise that they are indispensable in emergencies but I wouldn't want to enjoy only one in grip something happened to that one so that I couldn't use it.
It is actually a GOOD entity to have a few credit cards. A big part of your credit mark is your debt to credit ratio. If you have three credit cards, for example, each next to a credit line of $10,000 but you pay rotten your credit card balances each month and so own zero debt, your credit score will be illustrious, as it shows you are responsible with credit. This will make your credit mark higher and will allow you to obtain better interest rates on a mortgage, for example, when you buy a house. Interest for saloon loans will also be lower.

If you have self control and won't max out your credit cards right when you get them and run balance, it is a good idea to enjoy three cards. I, for example, have a card from Viaa, MasterCard as well as American Express. My total available credit is very well over $50,000USD, but I have a zero match on all my cards and my credit score is within the top 5%.

Remember, the card costs you nothing and you pay no interest unless you run a symmetry. Simply use the cards only for things you can afford and pay the harmonize off at the end of respectively month. Doing so will allow you to avoid carrying cash around while building your credit history at the same time.

Last word of guidance: Stay away from credit cards which charge use a fee to use them. There are plenty of other cards out there which charge you nought to use the card.

Good luck!
Only 1. I can use it anywhere, only pay a low interest duty, often pay if sour completely and I would be in serious trouble if I ever maxed it out. It's easier to make one clearance a month, less fees per year, etc.

It's better to have one card, near an excellent rating, than multiples. It's cheaper and my bank will give me a loan, surrounded by a flash.
I have 4. I used to have 7, but they be closed when I included them in my debt management plan. I also hold another line of credit that I used for financing my computer, which was stupid to do, but it's well brought-up to have for the history. none, unlike others I do not need a credit rating cos I still believe surrounded by neither a borrower or lender be. Most of the answers want their lb1,000 now, why? save up and purchase then believe me you will value things a lot more significantly.
And why are you down to 3 because you like a lot of other empire get into a lot of trouble. No i dont enjoy any and i think that the credit card is the devil. None what I cannot pay for up front I do not want I hold a debit card and only spend my own money so do not have to repay any interest at the end of the month
1 card only

Why enjoy almost all the answerers received thumbs down? We were asked a query & have answered it honestly.
