Credit Card Defaulter?

hi all,

i was contained by australia recently and have credit card debts of just about 10000, i returned back to my country i.e. India, now I own some third party debt collection agency threatening me to file a lawsuit or i reward up the money, can you guys advice me as to how should i proceed , should i repay it back, though i am surrounded by a bad state right now financially. any assistance or guidance will be appreciated.
