Cosigner quiz on motor loan?
Next week I plan on getting an 08 Honda for approximately $20,000. My credit is far from great, 570, but my parents have offered to cosign. My mom has awesome credit, 750+ but she does not work. My stepdad is the one who is suppose to sign for me but his credit is around 680. Will his credit win be enough to cosign me? And if not, can my parents cosign together since my mom have such great credit but my stepdad has the job? (Also, I be paid 32k a year, 66k including my husbands income). I just want to be prepared so in luggage I get rejected again I have a pint of rime cream on hand. :-) Only factual info or first paw experience please! Thanks for the answers!
Answers: With todays difficult financial times, car companies are eager to go cars. I know a score of 680 is actually considered dutiful in todays world and I have individually got car loans next to lower scores. The only issue you might come across is a better interest rate.
You are married, but have to have you mommy co-sign for you? Grow up. Save your money and pay cheque cash for your cars. My suggestion is trying to get as much resource as you can previously making final decision, here is a good one.http://carloan.onlineidea.info/bad-car-c...
Sorry, but this is a discouraging idea. First off, current cars are a waste of money - check out Dave Ramsey's website. They depreciate significantly the moment you drive them off the lot. Secondly, you are married. Why don't you enjoy your husband co-sign? Please realize that by having your mother co-sign you will be limiting her access to available credit and the moment you are late next to a single payment, you will negatively impact her credit, not just yours. You should not be looking at spanking new cars with a credit score of 570. Sorry, but that's realness. Look for a reliable used that YOU can independently afford.
