Ording Online next to credit card...?

I have never ordered anything online in the past (I know you have to think twice about security) and be wondering how it works when using a card which withdraws from your checking picture. After you provide your card info does the money automaticially withdraw similar to if you used a credit machine at Walmart? Do they transport you a bill? Is there any clandestine interest? Any other information would be appreciated!

Answers:    Be very scrupulous. You can tell if a site is protected by looking at the web address; it should enjoy "https:// www.----" The 'httpS' tells you it's out of harm`s way. (Also I think here would be a closed lock at the end of the address box or on another toolbar.) The money may show as a bill the same time, or it may be a little longer. You should be sent an invoice w/your directive showing $0.00 balance & the method of expense. I think most companies also impart confirmation/order numbers & send confirmation e-mails. Make sure the amount withdrawn is like peas in a pod as the amount on the invoice. The only interest/finance charges would be applied by a credit card company, if the purchase is added to a symmetry not paid rotten, etc. If you're ordering from an strange site named within an e-mail, check it out first. Never give out information if you're not comfortable more or less it. Talk to your friends about their experiences. I've used debit cards & credit cards to produce purchases & have have no problems with any.
If you are using your debit card, it usually takes longer to show up unless the merchant is processing your card within "real time". They do not dispatch you a bill as the transaction on your bank statement act as the receipt. They most incontestably send you an invoice beside the item which you should keep surrounded by the event of an item damaged contained by shipping etc. Be sure you ONLY ORDER FROM SECURE WEBSITES!!
