How do you find out who the companies are who reported you on your credit report?
i received my credit report and here are companies on within i dont certify. how do i locate the information on this to repay them if they are really owed?

There should be a document of adjectives the creditors towards the bottom of the credit report, beside a phone number and address. If not prod online for the company name.
Do a network scour (G00GLE, yahoo, etc...) on respectively company by the entitle programmed on the report.
The problem is, some companies "sell" their uncollected debt to collection agencies - and these collection agencies are the ones reporting to the credit bureau that you are in arrears.
If you don't sanction it, it may not really be yours. File a dispute beside the credit reporting agency and they own to investigate it. If they company who reported it can't prove it's yours, they lift it bad. Been within, done it.
If you don't certify the debt, dispute the entry as not yours beside the credit bureau. It could be an error and be removed.
Those that remain, distribute a note to the creditor (contact info should be on the credit report) requesting detailed info. From in that you should know how to negotiate settlement next to those debts that belong to you. Get any settlement contained by writing and ask the creditor to remove the denial entry.
