Did you know that "store" credit cards ruin your credit history? They normally tender you a minimal credit limit; for example if you seize a macy's card with a credit hamper of $500 and you purchase $250 worth of items, you have only used up half of your available credit. BUYERS BEWARE!!

This is no different than having a go together of 50% of total available credit on any other type of credit card.
