Is within an age to when a credit rating can be established or lowered?

I've be told that if you're below 18 and you've any done something to lower your credit rating or better it, it doesn't situation since a rating can't be established until the age of majority (18, where on earth I live). I enjoy no opinion though since I'm a moment ago research just about finances and adjectives that! Does anyone know whether this is true or not?

Identity pocketing experts say aloud a small but growing proportion of identity fraud is perpetrate by parents. Some victimize children who are behind the times ample to establish credit surrounded by their own right. Others use the Social Security numbers of their minor children to set up fraudulent accounts that the victims might not discover for years.

Normally, minors can't receive credit cards, since you cant be held to a contract until you're 18. But thieve can draw from away beside using minors Social Security numbers because credit issuers may not emergency proof of age.

Children hold a credit folder as soon as they own credit issued surrounded by their name, regardless of age. So if someone uses the child's social payment number and the issuing agency doesn't verify the age, the adverse information will be on the child's credit report.

The child may not know of the bleak credit until they become 18 and apply for a loan or when a collection agency contacts them.
I'm pretty sure this isn't true. A minor can hold their identity stolen, and the effects of it can show up on their credit report (and be tremendously, tremendously rugged to draw from off). Also, parents commonly affix their kids to their credit cards to establish a credit rating for their kids (although this practice won't work anymore, starting subsequent month). So I would say-so at hand's no age restrain on your credit chalk up.
You cannot even lawfully enjoy your credit reported to unless you are 18. You cant even apply for credit until you are 18. However, lots credit cards do report on authorized buyers credit (like American Express) but it does nil to relatives who are not but 18 anyway... even though teenagers can be AB's. They will check your credit but won't report.
Not true. There are numerous examples in the report of underage kids person the object of ID aggravated burglary next to fraudulent debts on their credit reports. I infer the youngest I read something like be an 18 month feeble.
there is no age reduce...frequent kids united a music club or something and didn't take-home pay, lone to find it on their credit reports.
