Whats the differance between Standard, Gold, Platinum, World Credit Cards?
Answers:
Most of it is marketing. To compare cards, don't look at words approaching these - look at the card TERMS.
That said, the different level may hold out different 'perk'. These perk are things that most cardholders never use. For example, a 'World' card might hold out sports car rental insurance, while a 'Gold' card offer extended warranty.
Usually though, you don't thought in the order of any of that crap when applying for a card.

At one time it intended something but immediately it's adjectives a gimmick. I received a "platinum" funds one card for $500. Oooh, ahhhh.
