Have you ever be credit card scammed over the phone?
if so, how did you touch this? it literally a moment ago happen to me. it be strange that they already have my address and outset of my credit card number (it's in reality a debit next to a credit card company on it...so it's not JUST a credit card).and they have 3 different general public speak to me and record me the entire time. i be at work when i answered so i be blind sided by the question.
turns out they right now took $75 out of my description because i apparently "okayed" it.
i've already canceled my card.. and i will be canceling my bank tale and re-opening a tentative one today. but in a minute i'm worried of what's subsequent to come - they claim they're mail me things...i guess i'll own to undo them or they will hang on to sending me bills :( helppp!

Same piece happen to me, but mine be for 185.00. I be asked if I required a 30 hours of daylight free magazine. I said yes, and they proceeded to read aloud a bunch of stuff really in haste. At the terminate I only just asked if I dissolve earlier the 30 days I don't carry charged. That same morning I be charged 185.00. When I call put a bet on to give an account them to credit my accout and amount out how they have ithe number surrounded by the first place. Turns out that I ordered some books next to my credit card and the company save the info. and a partner company call me to flog me the magazine. Needless to speak I be credited the 185. surrounded by around 2 weeks. Thank righteousness. They be rude, but at lowest I get my money.
Just stay over it and hold canceling!! It's worthy to abolish the card and the sandbank narrative too! Smart girl. Never bestow any info out over the phone.but I guess you realize this immediately? You're one step ahead immediately.

Yeah it's call a singing contract. No I hold have it never surface to me. However they try to phone call my work place and obtain one over on me. I only just read aloud no and dangle up. Yeah they enjoy our address and phone number i.e. it. How they get your card, not sure if you card company sell out that information. I don't know who you use. I would find out.
Do not supply your credit card or debit card number out to ANYONE you do not know and cannot verify the credentials of ESPECIALLY over the phone. Tell them to dispatch you a missive within allowed letterhead so you can verify and afterwards appointment them. Go to their website on the network and telephone call that number if you own to contained by decree to double-check. the legitimate company will read between the lines. All spam emails/unsolicited phone calls/letters and faxes are scam.
As a common rule - ANYTHING involving Western Union/money gram = Scam.
my Advice: Don't buy and sell beside anyone from a foreign country or Accept checks from strangers and never use wire/bank verbs services.. you risk losing your $$ and your mind.
Remember, if it sounds too good
to be true, it probably is! NEVER(ever) dispense out your personal information to strangers online or offline! Always be on guard.
