Credit card cross-examine?
Hi, I'm relatively new to credit cards (about a year) and I salary my balance within full each month. My statement date is March 17 and I salaried the entire balance past its sell-by date a week earlier than that. Then on March 12th, I charged a hundred dollars on the card for gas and groceries and such. Do I grasp charged interest on this if I choose to not pay it until April 17? Should I recompense it by March 17 instead? Thank you.
Answers: No. If your statement date is March 17, everything charged up to that date is on there. Something charged on March 12 would any show up on that statement, or it wasn't posted yet by next. It will be on the next statement, and that's when you reimburse it to avoid interest.
you need to repay when you get your statement, it lone charges interest on your unpaid balance if you wage it off every statement you should never be charged interest...also a tip: you can hail as the credit card company and ask for a lower interest rate iv done this a few times works about every 3 out of 5 times
