My boss used my SSN to get a CC and loan for her biz w/out my blessing. Can I sue/get her biz lic. revoked?

She used my SSN for these things for 2-4 years. I've be powerless to build credit for that length of time. Also hold be denied auto/personal/student/small business loans, apartments, and credit cards for the closing 2-4 years. It have be showing that I've be $6000 contained by debt! I have a feeling I should sue her for the damages, or at smallest preserve her from running a business that's parasitic to her personnel, even years after they've quit. Unfortunately she is more than 60 years feeble, and probably she can claim that it be due to her dated age that she made a mistake and used my social deposit number instead of hers. But the truth is she screw and harass everybody she know contained by come what may, and everybody hate her. She also a long and very well certain history of child/alcohol knock about. Would it be crossing the splash to bring back her children involved? I guess that's another ask. I do not loathe the elderly!

Answers:
She is committing identity thieving, and maybe fraud. You inevitability to take a legal representative ASAP to further protect yourself. Technically, you are very soon responsible for the debts, and clearing your moniker on your credit report can bring years. She may hold also stolen other SSns from former workforce as all right.

60 is not outdated. If she's competent plenty to run a business for years, she know darn powerfully what she have be doing.
i would appointment the creditors and bring up to date them what happen they should run after her for the money.
First of adjectives, I would phone call the police, this is fraud, identity breaking and entering. It may be a federal issue as in good health...

Second, you can put a "fraud alert" on your credit report (all three bureaus) forcing any creditor trying to extend credit to anyone using your ID to contact you at your home/cell phone first. Careful beside fraud alerts as they can steal 90 days to remove from the report...

Third, shift to www.annualcreditreprot.com and grasp a free copy of your credit report Identify every creditor on at hand that is to say not yours. Call them to contest the credit, reportign that it may be your boss using your identity. Write to both the credit reporting agencies and the creitors stating the credit is not yours, that you may be the sufferer of identity appropriation and that it is probably you boss using your identity fraudulently.

Fourth: Contact your State Attorney General's Office and report the identity pilfering and fraud

Fifth: Contact the department who handle business license and detail them that she is frauduent;y using your identity for credit.

SIXTH: Do everything in writing and keep hold of a copy of it adjectives!!

Seventh: Distance yourself from this loser in a minute!
Her personal history and age manufacture no difference within this casing. She is coherent ample to run a business and oversee her finances on her own after she know the repercussions of her activities.

However, consent to this travel on any longer and you can be implicated as an supplement to defraud the creditors by allowing your employer to use your identity to acquire credit.
you want to tell to a attorney, and NOW!!

Forget the age entry, I'm more than 60 and know the difference between my SSN and someone Else's. BTW 60 is not as prehistoric as you entity, it the senility that get ya...
