Going to court for collection?

I get sued for not paying my gym sponsorship. When the collection agency contacted me I asked if I can hold recompense arrangement for $50/mth, but they refuse. Now they're taking me to court. I wondered if I settle near the attorney at the hours of daylight of the court and be allowed to recompense surrounded by monthly, will this still obtain reported to the credit agencies? Also the debt is for $1140 will it be worth it to obtain a advocate? What are the benefits of doing so? Thanks!!

Answers:
The solely means of access it will not show on your credit report is if you find them to agree to whats call a "Pay for delete" agreement.

This funds that you pay envelope and they agree to delete the derogatory item from your report.

This typically vehicle that you any hold to recompense contained by full or a high percentage afterwards they would typically settle for but it's worth it for your credit.

As far as a attorney go, that's totally up to you.
The advocate may be capable of strike a matter beside you. Sounds resembling you are not disputing the amount you owe, so the mediate will award a judgement to the plantiff, so you may know how to ask the mediator for a reimbursement structure at that time.
Chances of them settling for smaller amount will be much greater if you can rate contained by full doesn`t matter what is agreed upon.
Again Spifiman1 is correct...

Call the advocate they really dont want to shift to court..
