If Microsoft pulls out of the Yahoo acquirement, how will this affect the companies?

Microsoft stock dropped after the announcement of the intended acquisition. Yahoo stock went up. Will the stocks simply dance back to their previous levels beside no ill effects to either company?

Answers:    I believe yahoo will go down to previous, and microsoft will stay down. but that just what i have an idea that cuz microsoft has been making fruitless eratic decisions and maybe the stockholders be getting sick of it
