Help soliciting corporate sponsorships?
OK, does anyone know what department(s) at large companies one would direct solicitations for sponsorships and donations? I would be seeking monetary donations for a school of the arts, as economically as goods to be auctioned off at a benefit for the arts school. Most likely I would not be asking for both from the same companies.
Mostly I'm unsure of what department at a larger company would be appropriate to distribute a request for a donation. I do already have letters written letting them know give or take a few the school and that donations would be tax deductible :-)
