No Overtime Pay?

I work in a department store, most of the days I hold to close the store, I be told I don't grasp salaried when I own to stay nearby up to 1/2 hour to 1 hour overtime.

Is this objective? what can I do in the region of it to row it if it's not impartial?

Answers:
No this is not objective. You should be rewarded for every minute that you are on the clock unless you are compensated a flat remuneration (same amount respectively week throughout the year).

I would bargain to the Human Resources Department and if called for discuss to an Employment Attorney. That or contact your state's Employment Services Commission or your state's Attorney General.

It could be a simple oversight by your boss or it could be that your boss is trying to get the "numbers" look apposite for his/her boss.

Regardless, pursue it.

Good Luck!
Well, nearby if you are closing you are expected a supervisor of some sort, and nearby fore salaried, for this reason no over time.

Over time is one and only for citizens who are rewarded by the hour.
