I saw an oppertunity for a promotion. Applied for it.
I be told that I needed a few months of experience since they can donate it to me.
A few months passed, and consequently they closed the position, own me do some of its work minus promoting me instead. DIRTYYYY!

Perhaps the method they saw it be that your work be not up to snuff or you be incapable of performing at that height. So they any closed the position or give it to someone else.
